Lash caps slip over the ends of your valve stems to protect them from damage. They are important especially with the softer stainless material used in many high performance valves. They are also commonly used with high ratio rocker arm sets, as the sliding motion of the operating pad tends to wear out the valve end. Sold in sets of eight.
